Photo Competition

We at the Asara Wine Estate have decided to run a competition for all our wine drinking friends out there.

We are giving away 12 bottles of premium Asara wines to the person with the best photo of their Asara experience, may it be you enjoying a bottle or just a lovely picture of one of the wines.

To enter, please email your photo and a small description to crm@asara.co.za so we can post your photo on our Facebook and Twiter page. The photo receiving the most likes by the end of July will walk away with the 12 bottles.

Enjoy perfectly paired pizza and wine at Asara

Asara Wine Estate and Hotel’s new offering for guests is a Pizza and Wine Pairing in their relaxing Wine Bar. Starting on Friday 29 July, guests can enjoy a fresh twist on a traditional 4-seasons pizza. This “Wine Pairing Pizza” is accompanied by 4 glasses of Asara’s wines and is packed with flavour and fun all rolled into one.

The combinations are daring, fun and affordable so why not give it a try?

• A Bobotie slice paired with Asara's Cape Fusion 2009;
• A Crème fraiché and bacon slice with the Asara Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc 2010;
• A Mushroom slice with the Merlot 2008; or
• A Soy and Honey Marinated Butterfish slice with our Unwooded Chardonnay 2011.

This Asara Pizza and Wine Pairing is timed for the launch of the brand new 2011 vintages of the estate's Unwooded Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and designed to show off Asara’s unpretentious, affordable new style.

The pizza paired with wines costs only R75 per person.
